AAA Central Penn, through its AAA Cares program, has donated free copies of a children’s book about a globe-trotting kitty cat to local public libraries.
The book is part of a series titled KeeKee’s Big Adventures which features KeeKee, an adorable kitty who travels around the world and teaches young readers about significant international destinations.
The edition donated to the libraries is KeeKee’s Big Adventures in Athens, Greece. The adventure begins when KeeKee lands her balloon at the Parthenon in Athens, which is one of the oldest cities in the world. From seeing the Greek gods to enjoying moussaká at a taverna in Plaka, to running the ancient Olympic Stadium, young readers can discover what makes Athens a must-visit destination.
“Public libraries provide a place to explore history, different cultures and new places,” said AAA Central Penn President and CEO Jodie Daubert. “We’re excited to add to children’s collections in local libraries with a book that will spark curiosity and inspire an appreciation for our great big wonderful world.”
