The Creatures Of The Night event at ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park kicks off its 45th anniversary tonight, Oct. 3. The after-hours experience will run on more dates than ever – from 6-9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays through Nov. 1.
In celebration of the event’s anniversary, ZooAmerica will debut new activities included with admission, such as a history-themed scavenger hunt and a creature kitchen where visitors can learn about animal diets. Decorating a luminary, a creepy crawler display, animal enrichments and other guest-favorite, Halloween-themed activities are also offered during the event.
Guests are encouraged to bring a flashlight to Creatures Of The Night for optimal viewing of the outdoor habitats. Creatures Of The Night is the only time of year the Zoo is open after dark, allowing visitors to explore the nighttime behaviors of North American animals.
Creatures Of The Night is included with a Hersheypark Halloween ticket when entering the Zoo from the bridge inside Hersheypark.
Separate admission, starting at $14.50 plus taxes and fees, is also available on ZooAmerica.com or at the ZooAmerica Admissions Building for guests who plan to attend just Creatures Of The Night.
