Elizabethtown College’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies (SGPS) partnered with York Suburban School District to offer a 15% discount on tuition for York Suburban School District employees as well as their spouses and dependents.

“Investing in the people who dedicate themselves to student growth and success is one of the most meaningful ways we can strengthen our communities,” Elizabethtown College Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships Chris D’Imperio said. “Through our shared commitment to preparing students for success, we’re proud to partner with York Suburban School District to expand opportunities for continued learning, professional growth, and lasting impact.”

The tuition discount will apply to SGPS undergraduate and graduate-level programs, as well as the micro-credentialing platform Etown Edge, which offers over 300 affordable courses through self-paced modules across a variety of in-demand fields.

Etown SGPS also offers several programs specific to the education field, including its recently launched Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership and Graduate Certificate in Higher Education.

For more than 70 years, SGPS has had a direct and positive impact on the workforce and economy of both Lancaster County and throughout the southcentral Pennsylvania region by offering convenient and flexible undergraduate and graduate degrees as well as micro-credential options specifically designed to meet the needs of busy working adults. Courses are taught by faculty who are working professionals in the fields in which they teach, ensuring that content is current and highly applicable.

Etown also partners with York Suburban School District to provide students with an opportunity to experience college coursework early through the College’s Dual enrollment program. The partnership allows students to begin their post-secondary education with a full year’s worth of academic credit by participating in courses across all six of Etown’s Schools, including SGPS. Courses are offered in a traditional on-campus classroom or as a flexible online program.
