Keystone FC has announced plans for a $10.5 million, 10-field athletic complex in Cumberland County, marking a major milestone for one of Central Pennsylvania’s largest youth sports organizations.

The Mechanicsburg-based non-profit youth soccer club completed the purchase of 63 acres in South Middleton Township, near Carlisle. The newly acquired site will serve as a permanent athletic home for the club’s 1,800-plus youth and pre-professional players, while functioning as a regional multi-sport and recreational venue.

The core of the development features 10 athletic fields designed to support multi-season play across multiple outdoor sports including 3 synthetic turf fields and 7 competition-level grass fields, providing playing surfaces throughout the fall, spring, and summer seasons, plus one of the fields will feature a stadium field complete with lights, a scoreboard, and bleachers for an enhanced game-day experience.

In addition, there will be a 4,800 sq. ft. facility housing team meeting rooms, staff administrative offices, and secure equipment storage and a dedicated parking area for about 670 vehicles.

While serving as the centralized home for Keystone FC’s soccer teams, club officials emphasized that the facility is planned as a shared community resource. The versatile field layouts will accommodate additional field sports, including: lacrosse, field hockey, rugby and cricket.

The project will be built in multi-phase developments, with funding sourced through state grants, corporate partnerships, and a dedicated capital campaign. Once complete, the venue aims to ease the regional shortage of multi-sport field spaces while attracting regional tournaments to Cumberland County.
