Kitchen Fitness Tips with Kilene Knitter, Regional Nutritionist for the GIANT Company

While we’re spending more time in the kitchen cooking and cleaning for our families, why not add a dash of fitness? When waiting for the water to boil, try oven squats. Maybe even add a jump in-between for a cardio twist! Stuck washing dishes? Balance on one foot to work your core muscles. Or take a pause for a few countertop push-ups when chopping veggies. Although life is a little crazy and unpredictable right now, make movement a priority every day to improve mood, reduce anxiety and help you sleep better. Whether it’s 10 minutes in the kitchen or taking your dogs for a 60-minute walk, it all counts!
