Learn to Ride a Motorcycle in Carlisle this Weekend

The Progressive IMS Outdoors event is coming to the Carlisle Fairgrounds in Carlisle, September 10-12th. Offering three days of motorcycle demos, plentiful Learn To Ride opportunities including the award-winning Discover The Ride program that gets new riders (no license required) on an electric Zero Motorcycle and safely learning to ride with the guidance of professional instructors.

Kids as young as two can master the life-long skill of riding two wheels in the Kids Zone presented by Strider, navigating the Adventure and Balance courses. 

Motorcycle and adventure enthusiasts will have the opportunity to engage with and demo new motorcycles from the world’s top motorcycle manufacturers including Kawasaki, Harley-Davidson, Yamaha, Royal Enfield, Zero Motorcycles, in addition to renowned bike brands Giant, Liv, Momentum, and Yamaha pedal assist.

Attractions and activities:

  • Street demo rides: Motorcycle riders can have a chance to demo bikes before purchasing. The demos are available all three days
  • Discover the ride: Non-licensed riders can learn how to ride a speed-controlled electric motorcycle
  • Electric demo rides: Explore the world of electric and power-assisted bicycles with a demo ride around IMS
  • Strider course: Children as young as two can learn to ride a bike in the Strider kids zone
  • Vintage and custom bikes on display, custom bike building competition
  • Exhibitors: top brands including Harley-Davidson, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda and more
  • Shopping, live music, and food add to the experience as well

Consumers can also shop the latest gear, clothing, and products while checking out the custom builder competition and displays of classic and vintage motorcycles.
