Local Nonprofit, Bountiful Blessings to Host Metal Scrap Drive Event on May 1

Residents and businesses in the community are invited to drop off unwanted metal scrap during Bountiful Blessings’ metal scrap drive on Saturday, May 1. The event will take place at their warehouse at 3 Keystone Drive, Suite B, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Accepted scrap metal includes electronics, cans, rotors, appliances, wires/cords, AC units and similar items. Tube televisions are not accepted. If you want to donate an item but not sure if it’s accepted, call Bountiful Blessings at 717-790-2620.

Bountiful Blessings collects items which can be taken a part, sorted by metal type and sold for money to help further its mission to support the community. This also provides service opportunities for volunteers and participants in the ARD Program.
