The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board approved three consent agreements presented by the Board’s Office of Enforcement Counsel (“OEC”) resulting in a total of $112,500 in fines.
Receiving fines were:
- Holding Acquisition Co., L.P., operator of Rivers Casino Pittsburgh, a $70,000 fine for seven instances of permitting self-excluded individuals to gain access to their casino floor and gamble;
- Relax Gaming North America, LLC, a licensed Internet Gaming Manufacturer, a $32,500 fine for executing a change of control prior to Board approval; and,
- Stadium Casino Westmoreland, RE, LLC, operator of Live! Casino Pittsburgh, a $10,000 fine for permitting an individual under the age of 21 to gain access to the gaming floor and gamble.
The Board also took actions to place 8 individuals on its various Involuntary Exclusion Lists. Placement on an Involuntary Exclusion List prohibits individuals from either gaming in a casino in Pennsylvania, via an online betting site regulated by the Board, or at a Video Gaming Terminal (“VGT”) location.
These matters, presented by the Board’s Office of Chief Counsel and the OEC, raise the number of individuals now on the Board’s various Involuntary Exclusion Lists to 1,499.
