Join UPMC Pinnacle online for “Heart Care During COVID-19 – Why Delays May Be Risky,” a free, live virtual presentation about why it is risky to put off needed treatments and procedures — especially when they are related to your heart or circulation. Doctors everywhere are seeing a worrying trend: patients are delaying important medical care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Information about daily health screenings, COVID-19 testing, hospital cleanliness, and staff and patient safety requirements will be provided.
UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute Cardiologists William Bachinksy, MD, Hemal Gada, MD, and Chinmay Patel, MD, will explain the precautions we take to keep patients safe in our facilities and offices. UPMC patients, who received heart care at UPMC Pinnacle during COVID-19, will join them.
Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 6:30 p.m. Join the free online program from home.
