Get Free FAFSA Help: PHEAA Offers Virtual Office Hours for Students & Families

The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) is offering virtual office hours throughout June to answer questions about the 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). This free application is crucial for securing financial aid, including grants, scholarships, and loans.

Senator Wayne Fontana, PHEAA Board Chairman, emphasized the importance of completing the FAFSA, stating, “I encourage anyone who is interested in pursuing postsecondary education to complete and submit the FAFSA. It is the most important step in obtaining aid and affording postsecondary education.” He acknowledged that the process can be challenging, but reassured that “help is available with any issues you may encounter.”

PHEAA’s financial aid experts are offering one-on-one virtual FAFSA sessions on Wednesdays in June from 9 AM to 4 PM. To schedule a session, email the
PHEAA Access Partner who serves your local region; contact information is available at

James Steeley, PHEAA President & CEO, highlighted the accessibility of their assistance, saying, “If a family is having issues with completing the FAFSA, our Access Partners are easily accessible to assist with FAFSA completion. We are pleased to offer expert assistance in applying for financial aid and affording the dream of higher education.”
